Last Friday and Saturday, the Early Bird Volleyball Tournament at Antwerp International School brought together some of the best school teams from Northern Europe, including NECIS schools and beyond, and ISA Varsity absolutely stole the show.
The team went through the tournament undefeated, not dropping a single set, showcasing their strength, coordination, and determination. Along the way, they faced tough opponents from Düsseldorf, Bonn, and Brussels, but their energy and teamwork never faltered. The finals against Brussels were intense, but ISA Varsity kept their cool, dominating the court with precise serves, solid defense, and unstoppable attacks to take the championship.
Coaches, teammates, and spectators were all appreciative of the Varsity girls’ effort and dedication. This victory is a huge achievement, especially at the start of the season, and a proud moment for the school. ISA Varsity has shown that when skill, teamwork, and determination come together, anything is possible.
Looking ahead, ISA is hosting a series of exciting games today and tomorrow against Luxembourg and Antwerp. Come cheer on the Varsity team and other ISA girls as they showcase their skills in person. Let’s go, Bears!
