I joined the club as a means to improve my writing and be able to reach out to our school community. Hi! My name is Sabine Bos and I am in 12th grade. I enjoy writing articles about wellness and psychological topics with the hope of aiding the well-being of ISA's student body as well as informing them about the psychology behind important aspects of our lives. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in the field of psychology, which aligns with my goals for The Voice. I also organise kiosks to promote different parts of the club, as I enjoy seeing the study body come together to connect through the newspaper.

Hi! My name is Nina and I am in grade 12. I have been at ISA for over 3 years now and this is my second year as the web designer for the ISA Voice. I am very interested in computer science and love playing around with technology. I also have an interest in AI and hope to study it at university. In my free time I like to play the piano, code and listen to music.

Hello! My name is Viola and I am a senior at ISA. I enjoy writing articles about medical science, in particular the developments in research. I am very passionate about learning the processes behind the workings of the human body. In the future I hope to pursue biochemistry studies. Hi! My name is Laura Torres, I am currently in Grade 12 and this is my 5th year here at ISA! For The Voice, I am the Editor of the World's beat and I focus on writing articles about global issues and worldwide news with an aim of informing others and spreading awareness. I also like to write some articles for the Bears and create more engagement within the community! I joined this club as writing has always been a passion of mine and I felt this club was a great opportunity to flourish this skill and educate myself and others on global events. In my free time I love to hang out with my friends, rewatch tv shows, go on long walks and travel to new places.

Hello! My name is Lamija, and I am a senior at ISA. I have been part of the ISA community for five years now and joined the Voice team in 9th grade. I have a passion for writing science articles, but I have also covered topics like local events in Amsterdam, school activities, and interviews. In my free time, I enjoy editing articles as well. Volleyball has been one of my greatest passions for the past eight years, and I have played it consistently. As I aspire to become a doctor, I’m pursuing all three sciences, physics, biology, and chemistry within my IB diploma. Writing for the newspaper allows me to explore scientific topics while fostering creativity and honing my writing skills, especially as I take English Language and Literature at a higher level.

Hi! My name is Ark and I am in the 12th grade. I have been at ISA for almost 4 years and this is my second year in the voice. I joined because of my passion for writing and my interest in reporting for the school newspaper. I found it to be a very unique and creative opportunity which motivated me to join as a writer for the Arts. However since I first joined I've become an editor for the bears and moved toward helping our writers publish stories. My hobbies are photography, guitar, art and swimming, although I would say my greatest passion is with the guitar.

Hello! My name is Andrea and I am a junior at ISA. Originally joining the club in my second year at ISA within my 10th grade in 2024. I like to write about events and club ideas happening around our school community and am passionate about the sciences. I enjoy The Voice because of its creative freedom that it provides students with. Currently, I study Chemistry, Biology and Economics as my higher-level subjects and I hope that these subjects reflect upon my writing and creative development this year. I will also be focusing my efforts in the media and outreach parts of the club this year making sure all content produced is put on our social media accounts and help market The Voice to our community. Hi, I’m Junie. I’m currently an 10th grader and joined a newspaper club to practice article-style writing, focusing on a good balance between concision and elaboration. Furthermore, I also enjoy the chance to write with my friends in the newspaper club. Some of my other academic interests include humanities, psychology and language, and some of my hobbies include field hockey, violin and horseback riding. In my spare time I enjoy reading and writing philosophy, being outside, playing/listening to music and spending time with my friends and family.

Hi, my name is Kanak Vanam. I am in grade ten this year. I work on the Arts & Culture (and occasionally World News) beat, and I joined The Voice because I have always had a passion for writing, but have never had the opportunity to write within a community of people who also share that interest before joining ISA. Joining this paper has been a great way to connect with fellow writers. My favorite subjects are English, Math, and Theatre Arts. A fun fact about me is that I love to sing, and my choir and I have participated in several opera performances at the Dutch National Opera (DNO), most notably the Nutcracker and Die Frau ohne Schatten, in which I had a solo role. I'm extremely excited for the year ahead!

Hello! My name is Gabriel, and I am in year 12. In addition to writing for The Voice, I run the Warhammer Club. I greatly enjoy writing about pop culture and film, and being able to introduce the school community what I love through my articles is the primary reason I joined The Voice. My hobbies include model building, reading, and Warhammer. I hope to incorporate my hobbies into what I write, so that others can experience what I enjoy.
