Club Profile: Hearts of Service

By Andrea Stoimenova

Isabel Jose (10), is a dedicated club leader leading Hearts of Service, a club devoted to the improvements of the surrounding communities and environments you experience day to day. With face-to-face interactions, Isabel aims to overcome barriers of communication imposed by COVID-19 in previous years.

Although the club is based in the Netherlands, it works with various groups, like the Ukrainian refugees, undocumented individuals, and the elderly. Since its formation, Hearts of Service has already made a significant impact, distributing boxes of essential food items to 763 undocumented Ukrainian Refugees. In addition, the future of Hearts of Service is a limitless possibility, with the aim of expanding its leadership foundation, specifically expanding its horizons to open up positions such as a media development team, event team and a potential set of leaders/director team for the club. Design students that may have ambition for creating may want to create merchandise if passionate. Those good with tech may like to expand the online presence of the club. Therefore, any skill or talent you may have, might be an idea of application to voluntary service.

  • Bowling with refugees and then Nova College

  • April 5th - Special Olympics at ISA
